Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and building scalable cloud-native data platforms using Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and Databricks
- Developing high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL, Python, and Spark/PySpark across enterprise data environments
- Supporting Azure Synapse and ADF migration initiatives into Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, OneLake, and notebooks
- Driving best practices across security, performance optimisation, CI/CD, data quality, and cloud governance
- Collaborating with stakeholders, mentoring engineers, and contributing to strategic data engineering delivery
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Spark/PySpark, and distributed data processing technologies
- Proven expertise across Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, and Data Lake technologies
- Strong understanding of data engineering principles, ETL/ELT design, cloud-native architecture, and scalable pipeline development
- Experience delivering secure, high-performing, and cost-optimised cloud data solutions, including CI/CD and DevOps practices
