Summary: The AWS Cloud Engineer role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing secure and scalable AWS cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:

  • Looking for candidate who has good experience in Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with security best practices, IAM policies, and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to support cloud-native applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on AWS best practices.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar tools.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS Code Pipeline, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.
  • Collaborate with the AWS Cloud Network Architect to support/validate the LLD
  • Provision all AWS infrastructure as defined in the LLDs:
    • AWS Accounts, VPCs, subnets, route tables, SGs, NACLs.
    • Amazon EKS cluster for Solace
    • Deployment of Solace onto the EKS cluster.
    • Amazon EC2 instances for AVEVA PI across tiers.
  • Configure all AWS network connectivity components (TGW, etc.) in line with the design.
  • Perform connectivity testing to the integration endpoints.

Key Skills:

  • Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, TransitGw etc.).
  • Strong experience with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS).
  • Strong experience with Autoscaling, Load Balancer, Route53, ElascticBeanstalk.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or similar.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
