Summary: The AI Security Architect / AI Security Strategy Manager role in London is a strategic leadership position focused on shaping and delivering the organization's AI security agenda. The candidate will define and drive the AI strategy, establish a target operating model, and oversee the AI portfolio while ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational risk requirements. This role requires strong experience in AI governance, information security, and stakeholder engagement. The position involves collaboration with senior stakeholders to ensure secure and compliant AI adoption across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and articulate the AI Strategy and AI portfolio in alignment with wider business objectives
- Develop and implement a holistic AI Target Operating Model across current and future use cases
- Review and support the adoption of the Information Security control framework to enable secure, scalable, and compliant AI implementation
- Establish and execute an AI security risk management framework in line with Operational Risk Management principles
- Partner across business and technology teams to define a joined-up, end-to-end AI roadmap and business use cases
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders across security and wider business areas to drive alignment and sponsorship
- Prepare and deliver presentations for senior committees, steering groups, and executive stakeholders
- Provide portfolio oversight, including multi-year planning, prioritisation, governance, and execution tracking
- Lead communications around the AI Strategy with clarity, consistency, and transparency
Key Skills:
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong background in strategy development, target operating model design, portfolio governance, or multi-year planning
- Deep understanding of AI concepts, governance frameworks, enterprise adoption models, and associated risks
- Strong knowledge of information security frameworks and AI regulations/standards, including: ISO 27001, ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act
- Proven experience working with senior stakeholders and delivering executive-level presentations
- Strong analytical and conceptual capability, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear and structured outputs
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Strong command of English
- Preferred Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CEH, CISA, CCSK, or relevant AI/security certifications
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation, regulatory engagement, or strategic enterprise programmes

AI Security Architect/AI Security Strategy Manager to play a key role in shaping and delivering the organisation s AI security agenda. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a candidate with strong experience across AI governance, information security, target operating model design, and enterprise stakeholder engagement . You will help define how AI is adopted securely, at scale, and in line with regulatory and operational risk requirements. You will be responsible for defining and driving the AI Strategy, building a clear and practical AI Target Operating Model, and overseeing the AI portfolio, roadmap, and governance framework across the organisation. Working closely with senior stakeholders across security, risk, and business functions, you will ensure AI adoption is secure, compliant, and aligned to wider strategic priorities.
