We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Community Staff Nurse to join the Mid & Upper Nithsdale Community Nursing Team in delivering quality nursing care to housebound patients 24 hrs per day. This is a fixed term post for 9 months from 9 February 2026 until 8 November 2026. As part of this role, you will be working within an ever changing environment, alongside colleagues in the multidisciplinary Home Team, including Allied Health Professionals, Social Services & Public Health Improvement. The Home Team is integral to our Health and Social Care Partnership. This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative, compassionate and collaborative Community Nursing Team. Experience of working within a community setting is preferred but is not essential. This post will involve clinic and home visits in remote and rural areas. A current driving licence/able to travel independently around the region often to locations outwith public transport routes/times is an essential requirement of this post. However, if you have a disability which precludes you from holding a driving licence, consideration will be given if alternative transport can be arranged.
